Who we are

Bloom Recruitment Inc. is a recruitment agency based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We are subject to Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Our privacy officer is Moustapha Seblani, reachable at hello@bloomrecruitment.ca.

What we collect and why

Candidates. When you apply to a role or join our network we collect your name, contact details, résumé, work history, location, and anything you tell us in interviews. We use it to assess fit for roles, to present you to clients with your consent, and to contact you about future opportunities. We do not share your résumé with any client without asking you first.

Clients and prospective clients. When you enquire or book a call we collect your name, company, work email and phone, and details about the role. We use it to respond, run the search, and manage our relationship, including access to the client portal.

Website visitors. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read. Forms include a hidden spam trap; we do not use advertising trackers.

Where it lives

Personal information is stored in Canada (Amazon Web Services, Canada Central region) via Supabase, and processed by service providers that meet Canadian privacy requirements. Email is handled through Google Workspace. We keep candidate records for as long as they are useful for placing you, and delete or anonymize them on request.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete it, at any time, by emailing hello@bloomrecruitment.ca. We respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC.

Security

Access to candidate and client data is restricted to Bloom staff who need it, protected by encrypted connections, per-user authentication, and row-level access controls in our database. Résumés are stored in a private bucket that is not publicly accessible.

If this policy changes materially we will post the update here and note the date above.
